This is possible thanks to the Product Recognition Grinder (P.R.G.), which recognizes the selected characteristic and instantly and precisely adjusts the grind fineness accordingly.
The range of coffee specialties doubles with the new Z10, a masterpiece of Swiss engineering. At the touch of a button, it prepares the entire palette of hot products, from a strong espresso to a modern flat white. It also gives access to a completely parallel universe of coffee appreciation for the first time with Cold-Brew specialties. This is possible thanks to the Product Recognition Grinder (PRG), which recognizes the selected characteristic and adjusts the grinding fineness exactly according to the speed of light. Furthermore, JURA has developed the advanced Cold Brew process, which is literally a refreshing innovation. Cold water is forced to pass slowly and pulsatingly through the freshly ground coffee under high pressure. The result is a completely new way to discover coffee – an invigorating and refreshing drink.
The premium quality, fully automatic machine can be operated via the 4.3” touchscreen and the Blue Crystal Rotary Switch, which is twice as fast. The special selection menu and artificial intelligence guarantee particularly simple and intuitive operation. The technological quantum leap is reflected in the sculpture’s design. The convex-concave front is visible evidence of attention to detail and absolute manufacturing precision. The resulting high quality makes the Z10 a perfect expression of good taste.
New Product Recognition Grinder (PRG)
JURA engineers have developed the Product Recognition Grinding Machine (PRG) to ensure optimal grinding for each specialty. Through electronic control, the precision grinder individually adapts to the preset grinding degree in fractions of a second, much faster and more frequently than would be possible manually. Its spectrum ranges from very fine for short classics to very coarse for extra-long specials. However, the expert does not need to worry about this because the configuration occurs completely automatically with each preparation and, if desired, it can be selected individually before each preparation, thanks to Aroma Selection.
Cold Brew – extremely fresh
Thanks to the Cold Extraction Process, the Z10 prepares true Cold-Brew specialties. While many traditional cold brew drinks typically consist of cooled fresh coffee, in the Z10 extraction is done with cold, pulsed water under high pressure and coarser ground coffee. The result in the cup is a natural and energizing soft drink, in which the fruity flavors of coffee stand out without being dominated by bitter substances. Everything else would just be a cold drink.
8th generation brewing group
The brewing group is the heart of every fully automatic machine. JURA has developed the eighth generation of infusion units for the Z10. With its unique 3D brewing technology, it allows water to flow evenly throughout the coffee grounds at multiple levels. This maximizes flavor; It is good in both hot specialties and cold drinks.
