Green teas are usually brewed at 80-85 °C for 4-5 minutes. Brewing at higher temperatures and for longer periods of time causes the tea leaves to lose their nutritional value and become increasingly bitter.

Also known as “Popcorn Tea”, this is one of the iconic tea blends.
It originated in Japan when low-income people mixed toasted brown rice with green tea to get more drink from less tea.
It has nutty flavors and a slightly cloudy drink, thanks to the sugar and starch in the rice.
Since it is sugary and starchy, unlike other teas, Genmaicha offers a more flavorful drink when prepared by adding 1 teaspoon to 250-300 ml of water and stirring for about 1 minute, without keeping it in the water.

Unlike all other blends, a special production technique is used for Jasmine Pearls. With the traditional blending method, teas are mixed with other spices, fruits, flowers, etc. while they are still dry. This is then mixed with the dry ingredients to form the final product. The method used for Jasmine Pearls is quite unusual.
After the tea leaves have dried and withered, they are placed in special pools and stored there. Then, it is mixed with fresh jasmine flowers, which grow in early spring and are picked very early in the morning, before the mouthparts open. It is extremely important for the quality of the blend that the flowers are picked at the coolest time and before they open. The tea leaves, kept in this way for about a night, slowly open and absorb the sap of the softened jasmine flower, gaining the light and fragrant floral flavor. The jasmine flowers are then separated from the tea leaves.
This process can be repeated 6 to 7 times, at least 3 times, until the desired flavor is achieved. Factors such as the quality of the tea used, the freshness of the jasmine flowers, the time and season of harvest, the repetition of the blending process, and the humidity and temperature during blending are very important factors that determine the quality of the final product. .
After the blending process is complete, the tea leaves are removed by drying the excess moisture from the jasmine flowers, and are rolled by hand, one by one, and turned into pearls. Because it is a whole leaf tea, difficult to obtain and little processed, it is more valuable than other teas.
Jasmine Pearls is one of the favorite teas for both lovers of floral flavors and green tea lovers. It has a very mild and light aroma.
